Acrylic Nails vs. Gel Nails

I have created a comparison chart of acrylic nails versus gel nails.

ACRYLIC NAILS
GEL NAILS
Artificial nail enhancements
·      The appearances of the acrylic nails sometimes look less natural than the gel nails.
·      The appearance of the gel nails have a glossy look.
·      The costs of acrylic nails are about $30 to $40.
·      The costs of gel nails are about $35.
·      Acrylic nails are cured slowly by patiently waiting for them to dry.
·      Gel nails are cured fast by a UV-light, which ensures a high shine.
·      The overuse or incorrect application of primer nails can cause damage to the nails.
·      Gel nails are applied without a primer, which doesn’t leave any hard impressions the nails.
·      Acrylic nails last for about 2 to 3 weeks, they are easier to break, and aren't durable.
·      Gel nails last for about 3 to 4 weeks, are stronger, and more durable than the acrylic nails.
·      Acrylic nails have to be made on the natural nail, they have to be filled, and shaped to satisfaction.
·      Gel nails are a lot more fun because they require less filing and filling during the application process.

Newspaper Nails

Taking nails to the next level now means putting words on your nails. Newspaper nails are the new trend that aren't difficult to do on your own and they are a quick design. Sometimes the complicated  nail designs are frustrating and take too long to finish. A plain old boring manicure is never exciting, so why not put some emotions and words on your fingertips. The process is very easy, first you paint your nails a light color such as pink, yellow, blue, nude, or white. You must pick a light color so the black lettering from the newspaper will be visible on the nails. Next, paint your nails with your  chosen color and wait for them to completely dry. Then, you have to pour rubbing alcohol in to a small jar, pour enough to cover your entire nail when you have to place it in the rubbing alcohol. Now cut up 10 small strips of newspaper and make sure they are wide enough to cover your entire nail. Next, dip one dry nail into the rubbing alcohol for about 5 seconds and place the newspaper strip on the nail. Then, dip a cotton ball into the rubbing alcohol and press firmly over the nail for about 10 seconds. Repeat this previous step for all 10 nails. Lastly, paint a top coat over the complete nail design, or else the newspaper design will just wipe off. This newspaper design is one of the fastest ways to get you nails looking great in no time!

BLack and WHite NaiLS

As many of us have noticed, black and white are the new popular colors of the summer. They go great together and this nail design shows just that! The saying of what was in style about a decade ago is back in style now is always in full effect. When we see old photos in black and white, we forget that life back then was experienced in the same vibrant colours that surround us today. Black and white are also seen side by side on pants, dresses, and crop tops. These two colors are arranged in many ways such as stripes, polka dots, swirls, and crosses. These nails are very popular for a number of reasons such as their inconsistent designs on each nail, the polka dots on the index and pinky finger, the black and white striped thumb and ring finger, topped off with a cute banana nail design on the middle finger.
